Q. How do you apply
skin adhesive?
A. If you have chest hair, shave a day
before you plan on using this adhesive. Your
chest should be hair free and clean, with no lotions or soap residue on the skin.
Using applicator tip (inside bottle,) apply a small amount evenly on the back of the
forms. Let them sit for about 10 minutes. Put on a bra. Lift one cup open at a time, and put the forms into place. Try to avoid
getting adhesive on the bra. Relax for about
15 minutes to allow the adhesive to set. Laying down is best. Then you can resume
normal activities, but keep the bra on. The
longer you leave the bra, the longer the
adhesive will last with the bra off. We
recommend 45 minutes to an hour. You can go
braless anywhere from 2 to 8 hours.
Q. How do you remove?
A. When you are ready to take the breast forms off,
slowly peel them away from your skin. Once
off, use the AdMed Adhesive Remover to clean off
any residue on the forms and your body. Then, wash the forms and your skin with warm soapy water, and rinse. Air dry.
Q. How long will the adhesive last?
A. Applied properly it should
last 2 to 8 hours, maybe longer. If
you are wearing loose-fitting clothing that doesn't
offer additional support to the forms, we recommend you bring
a bra with you. Once the adhesive starts to
fail, you don't want a breast malfunction. |
